ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
Parent/Guardian Enrollment Agreement & Home Environment Checklist
Every field below is required. Once submitted, a confirmation copy will be emailed to the address you provide.
SECTION A: PARENT COMMITMENT
- Hifz is a long-term commitment that requires patience, consistency, and sincere effort.
- My child will attend all Hifz classes regularly and punctually.
- I will cooperate fully with the Hifz teacher and school administration.
- I will ensure my child completes daily memorization and revision (Muraja’ah).
- I understand that daily revision is more important than memorizing large amounts without retention.
- I will encourage my child with kindness, du’a, and positive motivation.
- I understand that every child progresses at a different pace.
- I will avoid comparing my child with other students.
- I will immediately inform the Hifz teacher if my child experiences any academic, physical, or emotional difficulties.
- I will attend meetings whenever requested by the school.
SECTION B: HOME ENVIRONMENT CHECKLIST
Islamic Environment
- Five daily prayers are established in our home.
- My child is encouraged to pray in congregation whenever possible.
- Daily Qur’an recitation is part of our family routine.
- Islamic manners and good character are practiced at home.
- Parents regularly make du’a for the child’s success in Hifz.
Study Environment
- A quiet place is available for memorization and revision.
- My child follows a fixed daily Hifz timetable.
- Television, mobile phones, gaming, and other distractions are restricted during Hifz study time.
- Parents supervise or listen to daily revision.
- Homework and Hifz are managed with a balanced schedule.
Physical Well-being
- My child gets adequate sleep every day.
- Healthy and nutritious meals are provided.
- My child has sufficient time for rest and physical activity.
SECTION C: PARENT’S DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Listen to my child’s memorization every day.
- Encourage revision before learning new lessons.
- Appreciate sincere effort rather than only results.
- Maintain regular communication with the Hifz teacher.
- Create a positive, peaceful, and Qur’an-centered home environment.
SECTION D: DISCIPLINE & SCHOOL AUTHORITY
- I understand that maintaining discipline is essential for successful Hifz education.
- I authorize the Hifz teacher and the school to apply reasonable, age-appropriate, and educational disciplinary measures to correct misconduct or negligence.
- I understand that discipline will always be administered with wisdom, fairness, and respect for my child’s dignity, and will never include abuse, humiliation, or any action that may endanger my child’s physical or emotional well-being.
- I will support the teacher’s disciplinary decisions and cooperate with the school in correcting my child’s behavior.
SECTION E: THINGS PARENTS SHOULD AVOID
- Do not allow unnecessary late nights.
- Do not permit excessive screen time.
- Do not frequently miss Hifz classes.
- Do not neglect daily revision.
- Do not criticize the teacher in front of the child.
- Do not pressure the child with unrealistic expectations.
- Do not prioritize entertainment over Qur’an learning.
PARENT DECLARATION
I confirm that I have carefully read and understood this agreement. I willingly accept these responsibilities and agree to cooperate with Sukun Islamic School and the Hifz Department in helping my child become a sincere memorizer of the Qur’an.
