Choosing a school for your child is an amanah — a trust — and we do not take that lightly. Our admission process exists to help us understand your family, and to help you understand us, so that the decision you make is an informed and confident one.
Every step below has been kept simple and purposeful. Nothing is hidden, and nothing is rushed.
The Path to Admission
Seven clear stages carry your family from enquiry to enrolment. Each step builds on the last, so you always know what comes next.
Collect the Prospectus
Visit the school office and collect the Pre-Admission Form together with our Prospectus, which introduces our curriculum, values, and daily school life.
Submit the Application
Complete and submit the Pre-Admission Form along with the required documents listed below.
Admission Test
For Nursery and above, your child sits an age-appropriate assessment covering basic literacy and numeracy — gentle, and suited to their stage of learning.
Guardian Interview
A warm, respectful conversation with parents or guardians about your family's Islamic practice at home, and what you hope for from your child's schooling.
Evaluation & Confirmation
Our Admission Committee reviews the assessment and interview, and confirms your child's eligibility for the requested class.
Fee Payment
The Admission Fee and Exam/Lab Fee are paid to formally secure your child's seat.

Your child receives admission confirmation, EximusEdu login credentials, uniform guidance, and orientation details ahead of their first day, in sha' Allah.

The Guardian Interview is not meant to judge or exclude any family. It exists so that Sukun Islamic School and parents can speak openly about shared expectations — ensuring your child's home and their school work in harmony, rather than at cross-purposes.

Please prepare the following ahead of your appointment, so your application can move forward without delay.
Duly filled Pre-Admission Form
Photocopy of the student's Birth Certificate
Photocopy of both parents'/guardians' National ID Cards
Photocopy of both parents'/guardians' work ID Cards
Transfer Certificate and last report card, for students transferring from another school
Immunisation/vaccination record, for Early Years applicants
Age Criteria by Class
Please check that your child meets the minimum age for the class you intend to apply for.

The date of birth recorded on the Birth Certificate at the time of admission is considered final and cannot be altered afterward. Please ensure it is accurate and matches other official documents.
